Houston, Texas (May 31, 2024) – Houston Police are reporting the death of a woman involved in a multi-vehicle accident near the 10900 block of South Sam Houston Parkway.
It’s reported that a silver Hyundai Accent ran a red light and struck a silver Honda Accord while traveling through the intersection. The Accord was then pushed into a Toyota Camry that was turning onto the service road. The impact pushed the Camry into a nearby Mack van. In total, five people were injured in the crash.
The driver of the Hyundai Accent was killed in the crash.
Four people in the Honda, including the driver, were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Injured in the accident were two young juveniles.
Further details of the crash are still coming out as the investigation remains ongoing.
