According to the reports, Nestor Joel Lujan Flores has been identified and taken into custody as the driver of the vehicle involved. Flores reportedly crashed into a pedestrian near the area around I-30 & Cockrell Hill Road. Flores struck the pedestrian hard enough for the victim to go through his vehicle’s windshield.
Ultimately, Flores was found unconscious in the parking lot of a restaurant roughly 40 miles from the scene of the accident. The body of the victim was still in the vehicle when police arrived.
Witnesses reportedly called 911 after seeing Flores enter a nearby restaurant in a distressed state.
