Houston, TX (Feb. 19, 2024) – A fatal crash near the 6300 block of Richmond Avenue and Greenridge Drive has resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
Police are actively investigating the situation but believe speeding may have played a factor. According to authorities, a Toyota sedan and a Scion SUV struck each other. The driver and front seated passenger of the Scion were killed in the collision. Two children were in the backseat at the time of the crash. Police believe the driver of the Scion was the mother of the two children in the backseat.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment following the crash.
The two children reportedly suffered minor injuries in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing as police work to obtain video footage of the accident.
