Pasadena, Texas (Sept. 9, 2023)

Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that resulted in the deaths of two people in Pasadena.

According to reports, a silver sedan was seen speeding when the vehicle traveled through a red light, crashing into a truck. The wreck occurred at the intersection of Crenshaw Road and the Beltway 8 Frontage Road at approximately 6:00 p.m.

The impact caused the truck to become wrapped, ejecting one of the sedan’s passengers from the back seat.

According to a witness, an additional passenger in the sedan collapsed on the scene. Both passengers were killed in the collision.

The sedan driver attempted to flee the accident on foot but was shortly apprehended.

A full investigation is ongoing at this time.

Negligent Driving Lawyers

Running a red light at a traffic stop violates Texas roadway laws and is a clear indication of negligence.

If someone commits an act of negligence resulting in a death, the surviving family of the passengers may be entitled to a wrongful death claim. No family should ever have to suffer, especially if the accident that caused their injury were avoidable.
