Houston, Texas (Dec. 4, 2023)

A multi-vehicle accident has resulted in the death of a 15-year-old.

The victim, now identified as Stephaun Fair, was killed while riding in the backseat of a speeding Chevy Malibu. Another teenager was reportedly driving the vehicle.

The incident occurred in the early morning, with police attempting to pull over the speeding Malibu. Reports indicated that the vehicle was traveling up to 85 mph. The pursuit ended when the Malibu tried to pass a Toyota Camry but clipped the car and spun out. The Malibu ultimately struck a separate vehicle in the intersection.

Four teenagers were inside the Malibu at the time of the collision. Only Fair was killed in the crash. The other three individuals were taken to a nearby medical facility.

The driver of the vehicle is facing charges of felony murder and evading police in a motor vehicle.
